Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, France

This is by far one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life time. The little town of Chamonix is surrounded by gigantic mountains all around whose peaks are beyond the clouds. We took the ‘télépherique’ up the mountain to a grass land which was absolutely breath taking, here it was hot, sunny, and you could hike for days. I remember my eyes could barely focus on the view because it looked so surreal. Donkeys roam freely feeding on the tall grass and variety of vegetation growing in this oasis on this massive mountain. 10 minutes more up on the ‘télépherique’ you reach a completely different world, on the same mountain. The peak is at an elevation of 4808.73 meters and up here the air is thin and cold, and the snowy landscape is a contrast from the previous grass land. Being able to go from one eco system to another in a matter of minutes was an indescribable feeling, and absolutely amazing and 100% worth the 40 euros! Being above the clouds was amazing, and I look forward to returning to this area of France to spend a couple days hiking on the mountains.
